Import & Export

We connect the markets, and we carry the risk in between

International trade looks like ships and warehouses. In practice, what fails is the documentation: an HS code entered incorrectly, a certificate of origin issued to the wrong consignee, an Incoterm nobody defined until the freight invoice arrived. We have managed that chain since 2004, in both directions, for goods ranging from consumer electronics to bulk industrial inputs.

Inbound to Egypt

  • Consumer and industrial electronics
  • Polymer raw materials and masterbatch
  • Steel, aluminium and non-ferrous metals
  • Marble blocks and slabs
  • Machinery, spare parts and industrial consumables
  • Chemical inputs and additives

Outbound from Egypt

  • Cotton knitwear and made-up garments
  • Fresh produce and packaged foods
  • Fabricated metal products
  • Construction and finishing materials
  • Household goods

How an order actually runs

  1. 1

    Enquiry and specification

We convert your description into a defined specification: grade, tolerance, packing, certification, and a target price band you can work with.

  2. 2

    Sourcing and verification

Candidates come from suppliers already qualified by us. Where the product warrants it, we obtain a sample or a mill certificate before anyone commits funds.

  3. 3

    A costed offer

The quotation states the Incoterm, the origin, the lead time, the payment terms and the validity period. An offer, not an indication.

  4. 4

    Contract and payment instrument

Letter of credit, cash against documents, telegraphic transfer, or agreed open terms once a history exists. Banking instructions are issued before production begins, not after.

  5. 5

    Production and inspection

Progress is monitored at source, and pre-shipment inspection is arranged wherever the value or the risk justifies it.

  6. 6

    Documentation

Commercial invoice, packing list, bill of lading, certificate of origin and any product-specific certificate — issued and checked before the vessel sails.

  7. 7

    Freight and customs

Booking, consolidation where it helps, clearance at destination, and delivery to the agreed point.

  8. 8

    After delivery

Claims, replacements and repeat-order scheduling stay with the same contact who took the first call.

The terms we work under

Incoterms 2020: EXW, FCA, FOB, CFR, CIF, CPT, CIP, DAP and DDP — selected against the risk you wish to carry, not against our convenience.

Payment: irrevocable letter of credit at sight or usance, cash against documents, telegraphic transfer, and negotiated open account for established relationships.

Where Egyptian origin or destination carries an advantage: the Egypt–EU Association Agreement (EUR.1 certificates), COMESA, the Greater Arab Free Trade Area (GAFTA) and AfCFTA. Preferential origin, correctly claimed, is often worth more than a hard-won discount. We check it on every eligible shipment.

Send us the specification. We will send back a real number.
